William Fitzsimmons – Everything has Changed
Another Video from this guy. I seriously think people should look up other stuff by this guy, he is amazing and this is another beautiful song, that I love and I think I know where this guy is coming from.
I hope you like it.
Goo Goo Dolls – Iris
You can’t beat the classics.
Starry Eyed – Ellie Goulding
This is a live version of a seriously catchy tune. I first heard this about a year ago on BBC Radio 1.
Staind – Outside
I first heard this song almost ten years ago when my mate Jonathan Regan put it on the Jukebox in the Anvil Bar. It’s a very emotional song and was a massive hit for the band.
Newton Faulkner – I Need Something
Newton Faulkner shot to fame a few years back when his debut album ‘Hand Built by Robots’ received great Critical acclaim and also sold extremely well worldwide. His trademark dreadlocks distinguish him from anyone else in the same genre.
His amazing Guitar technique as well as unique voice mean he’s a talent like no other. Here is one of the better known tracks from him.
Ryan Sheridan – Jigsaw
This guy is set to be the next big thing to come out of Ireland and if this track is anything to go by, I can see why.
Nizlopi – Extraordinary
I’m sure everyone remembers the ‘JCB Song’, well this is a track from the same duo. I saw Nizlopi supporting Damien Dempsey back in 07 in Vicar Street and was very surprised to hear their sound as I didn’t expect to hear anything other than shameless pop, however the duo were an interesting and thouroughly enjoyable act.
Here’s a track from them a few years back at the o2 wireless festival.
Club Can’t Handle Me – Flo Rida (Tyler Ward, Cobus Potgieter Cover)
I have seen the link for the Flo Rida video flying all over Youtube so I thought I’d post up this cover version of the track, it’s not exactly deep but it’s a catchy track by Tyler Ward.
The Coronas – Someone Else’s Hands
The Coronas are a four piece from Dublin. The boys have been non stop on the road over the past few years. I was lucky enough to get to know the lads when I was in Waterford and they are a very down to earth bunch and are mad for the craic.
They seem to have been the soundtrack for my life at times. On two of the most important moments in my life the first songs I heard when I got into my car and turned on my radio were ‘Heroes and Ghosts’ and ‘Someone else’s Hands’.
So this is a song that has very very special meaning to me and it show cases a new sid to the band.
Otis Taylor – Ten Million Slaves
A little bit slapped together today but a great track in fairness. If you saw the movie ‘Public Enemies’, you’ll recognise this tune.
